Holiday Card Workshop Day 2

I was so excited to get started after watching the video for today, I was determined to get out my background stamps and start working.  When I tried figuring out what to make, I discovered that amongst all of my stamp/die combo's that I have, not a single one of them was a Christmas one.  I know I could have chosen a theme that isn't Christmas, but this is a 'Holiday Card Workshop' right?  So I dusted off my Cricut machine that I haven't used in ages (I have been addicted to all those stamp/die combos that I mentioned earlier) and decided to find something Christmassy.  Then after being so excited about finding a new use for my background stamps, I discovered that I didn't have any that would work with the holiday theme, so I used an embossing folder instead.  I just love how this class makes me think outside the box.  I have also been inspired to dust off my Tim Holtz on the edge dies and jazz up my card (another item I had laying around collecting dust).  In summary, I didn't have any of the supplies that were used in class, but ended up creating a card using similar techniques with tools that I already had and being pleased with the results :)
